Quite annoyed right now as I'm pretty much fucked over in a class (at least it isn't anything important) as I missed a massive point midterm and apparently would of been fucked anyways. Why? Well I wanted to take it before I went on a trip as I knew I was going to miss it, well he said no worry and just take it the week after Spring Break (when I'd be back). Okay, so of course I forget to get the sheet with the e-mail, thus e-mail late, so can't take it since I e-mailed late. Fine, I hate it but understand that is my fault and okay (again it isn't an important class just sucks to know you wasted money on a class you are going to "fail" (get a D but that is basically failing)).
What is bullshit and pisses me off, and really makes me want to drop the class (but it requires a signature now at this point, which who the fucks knows if its possible to get, plus then I have shit all to do except online classes for stuff that actually matters, and hopefully volunteer work soon), is the fact is that even if I had remembered the e-mail and sent it in time etc. I'd been able to take it with major point reductions. What the fuck? YOU are the one who told me to take it after spring break, then would of taken major points off it when I wanted to fucking TAKE IT EARLY in the first place?
That is just fucking utter bullshit and I have to vent about it (because I can't to him without fucking up my chance of going to that school probably, and possibly other schools). How can you tell someone to not take a test early then turn around and say you'd of taken large amounts of points off? So instead of being able to take it when I fucking wanted to in the first place, now I get a 0 and about a 0% chance of passing the fucking class.
Lesson learned apparently, don't listen to a professor. Tell them to fuck off (figuratively) and pretty much try as hard as possible to do it before when you wanted to to avoid all this bullshit. Oh well, hopefully I can drop it, concentrate on online/distance classes and hopefully turn volunteer work into a job (especially since I'll have nothing on my schedule besides doctor appointments and shit). Just pisses me off to find out I would of gotten fucked over anyways if I'd taken it late when I was wanting to take it the week before anyways.

Re: Professor/Teacher bullshit
I havent had anything that bad happen but I've been screwed over by the school more in the last year than I want to count so I feel ya. Took me a month to register for winter term this year. Was utter bull shit and the registrar wouldnt help me out at all. Utter nonsense is what it is!

That is pretty shit, not overall surprising considering schools are just about money money now but still. Had issues at university with advising, registration, registration again, etc. in about 2 years or so. Yet the community colleges, including one in po'dunk town were always on the ball O_o. Pay 5-6k 2 times a year for incompetence (probably even more there), yet 1-2k (at most) can get people who don't eff everything up
