Thread: Man is the system fucked up.

Its the fact that we support them with govt assistance and they have more than enough to buy junk food. Then they drive a car that costs almost as much as a small house. They are abusing the system. These programs are designed to meet the basic needs of low income families. It should not be a way of life and it sure as hell shouldn't be luxurious.

The whole thing is insulting. Not to those who pay for it, but those who get it all for free. Let me ask, how much different is this really from 150 years ago when wealthy men paid for everything then? At least they were honest about owning slaves. Now, people are slaves to a different kind of master... entitlement.

I can't think of anything more insulting than to say to the government, "I can barely feed my family, so can you take from that guy over there so we can live like kings, too?"

The whole point of the "American Dream" is to know that you CAN ascend the economic ladder if learn how to learn, then work hard to do so. When did the "American Dream" become groveling at the front door of the White House to take from those who did earn it. This doesn't insult the wealthy. It insults the poor.
