Thread: What am i missing here?

I just got off the phone with another doctor. I have to go get an emg ncv tomorrow. She tells me its going to cost me $371. So i ask isnt my insurance covering it. She says no because its a test so they dont cover it. I say ok see you at 8:30. Then she says dont use any lotions for 24 hours prior to the test. So i tell her that not a problem but shouldn't you have called at 8:30 this morning to tell me that. She ignores what i said and says dont forget to bring your id and insurance card. I chuckle just a bit and ask why they aren't paying for it i am.

I think im gonna have to look at my insurance and see why this is not being covered. Plus now their going to regret that shit because i was pushing things and not doing things i didnt feel was necessary that i know they would cover. I'll be making some more phone calls later to let my doc know run with whatever you want.

Definitely need to change insurance but i'll wait until my renewal to change. The only thing i can figure for what she said was force of habit or they're billing me and trying to bill my insurance as well.

I have to say i like this doctor i had to see. I finally got someone that wants to find out whats going on. Im not particularly found of the 30 stab marks on my leg but i'll take it. He's short and to the point and called the VA doctor out on his bullshit. In 1 hour he diagnosed permanent nerve damage, the damage will not cause the swelling im getting, and that methadone and oxycodone would have next to no effect for the pain. So i have to assume the next test is for compartment syndrome but wont know till thursday. 1 step closer to my goal of having that doctors license revoked.

I must love just talking and not getting responded to. Every single doctor/test i did the first question out of my mouth was how much for .... Now i get 2 bills in the mail from people that said its covered totaling $800. I have half a mind to wipe my ass with them and send them back with a letter saying you told me it was covered. They're lucky i give a damn about my credit. What is so fucking hard about answering a question with the real answer?
