What I'm more concerned with is things like political refuges trying to spread subversive messages through the web. Imagine China with this. They've already done some shitty things with the internet. Now imagine if they didn't have to censor, but could use it to track down rebels.

It's not like I have something to hide, but this sort of thing could be easily weaponized. That's the main problem I have.

And used by someone with a grudge against you, it could lead to a crime of some sort.

Just look at a bunch of porn, and nothing else. The system will think you're an adult, and thus are probably telling the truth about yourself. Or, it could backfire on you since kids look at a lot of porn, too. It's a 50/50 shot.

    I don't care.

I don't look at anything illegal, pornography, etc. I've nothing to hide.

Here's a nice little scenario, someone decides they don't like what you say on a forum, they stick a little thing like that in their sig wait for the results to roll in and then start threatening you with your name, where you live, how old you are... If you don't want some random fucktard making threats you certainly don't want some random fucktard making threats with this sort of technology bumping around.

One of the wonders of the web is its relative anonymity. You can go out, express a political opinion or whatever and by and large you're difficult to track, certainly not from governments but by companies and the average user you're going to be speaking to. Someone says they're going to kill you on the internet it's largely ridiculous, they don't usually know what your name is, where you live, where you work, even if there are photos of you knocking about somewhere so they'd recognise you if they ever met you the chances of actually meeting among the 8.3 billion people in the world are remote.
This sort of thing should never be made, doubtless it will be, once you've got the basic idea of something down someone's generally going to make it sooner or later, and hopefully countermeasures will also be made.

If you're not concerned about the privacy thing though imagine being denied a loan or your insurance premiums going etc, based on your browsing demographics.
