Thread: Hookah woes

So This girl i was seeing works at a bar and the new owner was renovating it from being an old hookah bar into a sports bar basically, He has no interest in hookah so he gave me one for free for helping him out, Its a 4hose hookah with a plastic vase (changing it to glass soon) anyways, it needed some restoring being as it hadnt been used in quite sometime, I restore it with new parts (Hoses, seals, head, Gaskets, breathing valve) the works. Use it for the first time works okay (partly my fault as i improperly packed the bowl and had too much water.

Finally i get it right and its still not pulling correctly, Tonight i get it going and its not pulling at all, Freaking out that its not pulling at all and i had already heated my last 2 coals i start frantically trying to figure out whats wrong....Doesnt my dumbass completely forget that the stem although i cleaned it, Comes apart at the top and bottom and i forgot to clean out the top half! It was clogged with suit and tabacco...needless to say, Cleaned the top half out and got the best hookah sesh of my life.

That is all. Just wanted to share my dumb blonde moment with everyone Toodles.

I've considered buying a Hookah as I genuinely enjoy it. I just can't justify it right now. Plus, nowhere around here to buy shisha or coals at so I'd have to order all online. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable with that as I'm picky with my flavors.

My sister lost the 4 foot tall vintage hookah in the divorce.

Make your own, hookah/shish/coals/ parts, it's much more gratifiing and personal. Plus you can save $.

I like Spicey Shish, like Thai pepper, or Cumin.
