On May 26, 2008, SGT Raymond Hubbard, (a survivor of a rocket attack in Baghdad that amputated his left leg and severed his carotid artery resulting in a stroke from blood loss.) Gave his most heartfelt speech to date. Speaking about his fallen comrades, his family's military history, and what the nation needs to do for it's soldiers, by the end their was not a dry eye in the crowd.

Not only did I have to work from 4a-6a, I also had to work from 8a-11a. Senior Management wanted our business to play a "Closed Message" on all of the toll free numbers, but also giving the option to speak to a Pharmacist. So we were "closed", yet also "open". I had to load all of the scripts EARLY this morning to start playing the message at 8a EST, so I got 2 hours of sleep and them got up to test the scripts in production.
Then come to find out, the closed was totally causing our call volume to come in well below, so I had to get some volunteers from people willing to cancel their overtime.
So 5 hours worked on my "paid holiday". Oh well. I also got to cut the grass in the back yard since I only cut the front yesterday. Happy Memorial Day, everyone!
