Thread: Those dreams that your at work.....

Came home, crashed, had a dream I left work and took and fell asleep only to get called back in and get ripped into by the boss.


I think those hours count right?

The worst are when youre sleeping so deep and you start dreaming about work, you look up at the clock and youre late, Then all a sudden you wake up in panic mode thinking youre late only to find out you have 4hrs left before you have to wake up.

I hate when I take a nap at like 5 in the afternoon then I wake up two hours later and shit bricks cause I think I'm late for school and I don't know what time it is. I feel ya bro!

I've been seeing access lists in my sleep... Migrating firewalls at work.

ha ha ha..... I mapped two global data centers both physical and virtual connections by hand due to the mixed hardware.

I was dreaming about cdp working like its supposed to for a long while.

That sounds like tons of fun lol. Sounds like it's probably more far more complicated than mine. The routing is the hard part....I have to run redundant active/active firewalls and static route everything.

Yea.... there was only like a few hundred backplane routers, firewalls, packetshapers (not including virtual networking equipment for blade devices).... with a couple million connected end devices in a datacenter that has been around since the days of token ring...... they still had a three-hop token ring setup and it was the main fax server...... *shudder* once I was done with that project I left the company.......

Had this exact thing happen last night, I went to bed around 4pm (Had only slept 4hrs the night before and worked all day) Woke up at 9pm freaking out thinking i was late, only to find i had plenty more time to sleep. Woot woot for the mini heart attack.
