Thread: ... people think your not happy.

I was asked to go inspect a job and see how many bags of prep its going to need to fix the subfloor. I tell them i can fix it with 56 bags. They say you sure you dont want 60? So i say sure why not have a buffer. Then comes the question of how much do you want to install it. I respond standard rates are just fine with me. They respond with you sure you dont want 50% more to get it done. I say well im not going to turn the money down if thats what your asking. So we agree to 60 bags at an increased rate. God life is just to tough sometimes.

Not when 2 years ago i made $25 a bag and now the average is 10. Money still on the table as far as im concerned but im happy in the fact i still have the ability to make my bills in 1 days work. Many would kill to be able to do that. So i just try to remind myself of that.

Yeah making 50% more for something i was already gonna do doesn't upset me.
