Thread: Southwest Heat!

Oh lord, it's a fire! highs of 118 in PHX today, 112 in Tucson, 92 in Flagstaff.

Some of my coworkers said as phoenix temps get closer to 120 they have to start grounding flights since the planes can't get enough lift to take off. That's crazy!

What do you do to stay cool on days like this? AC? Ice cream? Cracking open a cold one? All three?

Looks like everything from Texas to Sacramento will be scorched earth by next week. 106 in Dallas, 101 in SA, 98 in Houston. Salt lake city in Utah 102, Provo 101. 115 in Vegas. 107 in Sedona. 120 in bullhead city and 120 in Laughlin as well. 104 in Sacramento. 121 in Needles. 108 in Nogales.
