The amazing thing is that guys don´t immediately go to kick someone in the balls or ´sucker eye gouge´ someone and then crack ´em in the jaw. No one ever does that. I think it has to do with the frame of mind guys get into when they ruffle up to get in a fight or are in someone´s face arguing with them. Unconsciously, you consider eye gouging or kicking someone in the balls a "bitch move" so you opt to punch someone or wrestle someone to the ground with a WWF head choke. This is just an opinion not stating this like it´s a fact.

I ask you guys that have been in a street fight before: have you even initiated (or ended for that matter) a physical altercation with someone by kicking them in the balls or eye gouging them right out of the gate?

damn you´re a big guy. My suggestion is, if you really consider you´re getting in a street fight sometime in the near future, get some training. Prepare yourself. Find some boxing gym in your area. Every little bit you learn, counts. At 6¨4, 317 lbs. the thing I worry about the most is cardio. You´ll get winded after your third swing.

Thats a fact. Size can be just as big a hindrance as it is a benefit. Not to worry though i got him beat. 6'4" was 220 but im cutting back on the soda and got down to 200. Goal is to get back to lean and fast at 190.

Yup. I followed unspoken rules while growing up but when you get to boot camp you learn there is no such thing as cheating in a fight. Then they add skill to the knowledge you came with. I already knew how to box due to family members. That however does not mean i want to step in the ring with sugar ray but its enough to deal with most people.

The leave i took right after boot camp i put a guy in the hospital. Long story short my buddy thought he knew him so he followed him to a 7-11. As soon as he got out of his car he realized it wasnt who he thought it was so we were finishing our cigarettes before going in to get a drink. The guy came out with a 32 oz beer and hit my bud in the head with it. He turned to me and i practiced exactly what i was taught. So my bud ended up with like 5 stitches and he ended up with stitches in the back of his head and a broken elbow. I was nice and left the stomp to the face out of it.

The simple truth is in a street fight you have to end it as quickly as possible because there is no bell for you to catch your breath and you cant call time out. 3 minutes in a street fight can seem like eternity. As long as you didnt start it the amount of damage you inflict is irrelevant.

I hear what you´re saying I only slightly disagree with you with your last statement. The amount of damage you inflict is not irrelevant, in my opinion. I´m talking more on the side of being conscientious. I´d have immense remorse if I fought someone at a bar, over probably a stupid ass reason, and that guy ended up a vegetable or in a wheel chair or some fucked up thing like that. But that´s just me, some people can hold a grudge like nobody´s business and don´t care. I never do (hold a grudge).

I can see your point but im not one for feeling a whole lot of remorse. If i start it sure but i dont start fights. I mind my own business and somehow they find me from time to time. It does happen a lot less since i quit drinking though.

Yea, I know...but I don´t wish anything THAT terrible even to the biggest of douchebags. Maybe I would wish it for a huge douchebag, but not for their family, kids, parents, wife, etc. So I would feel remorseful for my actions because of what the family would have to go through.

Anyway, we´re talking hypotheticals again. Thing is, I wouldn´t want to leave someone in a wheel chair over a barroom fight. Now, if it´s on self defense, protecting my people etc. that´s another story.
