Re: I love Arizona
I'll take our below zero Winters over that shit any day. If you are cold, you can always add another layer. Too hot is just too hot.
@Max.....GTFO in the Winter. If you close yourself in, you will dread Winter, and it will go slow as Hell. Get out and find something you like....snowmobiling,skating, icefishingdrinking, something......anything to get you out of the house. It won't take long, and you will catch yourself on one of those humid Summer days wishing for just a touch of wind-chill.

Screw cold and snow and ice, and cold, and most especially cold.

Re: I love Arizona
Kansas weather is pretty terrible also. We can see 100+ in the summers and below 0 (windchill) in winter. Strangely enough though we have had a cool August. Generally we are 90-100 this time of year but the high topped out at 80 today. This whole summer hasn't been bad. I think our highest has been 97 and only in the 90s a handful of times.
Hopefully our winter doesn't suck. We are so flat that when it gets down to a low temp and the wind sweeps through our windchill plummets.I never miss. I simply fire warning shots.

Re: I love Arizona
I remember being in El Centro during 115 degree days. Everyone from a non tropic state was trying to squeeze into the little ac guard shack while the rest of us laughed at them. I can say my tolerance for heat is not what it use to be but i can stand in the 30 degree penguin encounter at seaworld all fing day in a wife beater without as much as a goose bump. Funny how your body changes over time.

Just moved to Denver from St Louis....give me dry heat any day...at least shade fucking does something here...noticeable temp drops in a dry heat...not so much for wet heat.
