This is why I like that my boss is 6000 miles away and 6 time zones apart from me.

my favorite thing my boss says: It usually happens on a Friday afternoon around 4:50pm or on a Sunday night at 6pm-9pm.

"We are going to need you to go to xxxxxxx in yyyyyyy state next week and finish up that testing. And we will see you back in a month or two."


I mean COME ON. Give me at least a week notice I am going somewhere, its not possible you didn't know about it until right then, let me know when you know its even a possibility.

I've been lucky. My bosses at the place I've interned at the last 3 summers were all awesome. Highly professional when needed, not afraid to kick back and tell a few jokes on a Friday afternoon.

As the intern, one of them made me drive to lunch so he could do lunch beer. Lol
