Flamed for Gaming
I'm not a sports guy. Met up with some friends this morning and got flamed for playing online games and then expected to get into fantasy football. Seriously, when did painting your hairy tits become more acceptable than sitting at the computer for an evening?

Yea it is interesting how rare we all are. I think I have 1 friend that plays PC games and maybe two others that play console. I am 39 and those numbers have decreased over the years.
Meh to each his own. I still keep up my marriage, work, hunt, play on the lake, go to all Bama home games etc. I still enjoy playing on the computer and I do not think that will change for a while.

Pretty much just like you Nuck. I will be 38 next month, have 1-2 friends that dabble in PC gaming, and a few others who dabble in console gaming, outside of my TPG friends of course. Most of my friends just laugh at me though, then I laugh at their stupid habits/hobbies, and then we move on.

Me too.
Going to be 42 in November and have been gaming since Pong. I still get out and hunt, bike, travel, and generally screw around in the outdoors and go to Hockey/Football games (all other sports are unwatchable). I very much have a great life, and gaming is just one of the many parts of it. I too am the only one in my little circle of friends that games, and I like it that way.

Nailed it lol. And while we're on the subject, I can't stand sports people always refering to the team as we. "We got the ball back just in time." "We really made a comeback after half time." Son of a bitch, you didn't do a damn thing. Those highly paid athletes that spend 23 hours a day working out did. You sat here and ate nachos the whole time.
Alright I'm done. Mostly.Muqtar liked this post
