Great minds think alike. I was doing this on the pre-op diet, and I have more coming today to flavor shakes and plane Greek yogurt.

I will clue you in on something they never told me.....sugar free gum....chew on a piece about 10-15 minutes a day. Not chewing anything for 8ish weeks makes your jaw muscles weaken. You will get off liquids and onto mushies or puree and need to be able to chew. You will take 3-4 bites and your jaw will be hurting because you haven't used the muscles in weeks. The light headedness of detoxing off carbs was really weird too. It was hard to concentrate. Oh, then there is the bad breath you get when ketosis kicks in. Oh the memories...

When you are on the mend and near your goal let me know, I have developed some great low carb alternatives, I make a mean pizza crust out of chickpea flour (aka garbanzo beans)
