I will be shocked if people take that. Do not get me wrong, it is cool as hell but I do not think people will take it in place of an actual card with you name on it. If I am wrong I will be the first to buy one.

I will take that bet. On all of my credit/debit cards in the signature box I always put request photo ID. I bet I get asked for a photo ID maybe 1 out of 20 times that I use any of my cards, if that. Maybe if you go to pay ~$1400 to pay off a TV they will balk, but I bet most places could care less.
