Thread: Sata, cables, and RAID, oh my

Swapped out my stock CPU cooler for the h100i tonight and in my haste to remove the motherboard to mount the back plate, I removed all of my SATA cables (8 identical cables) without taking note of which drive was in which port, and effectively botched my striped RAID.

I could try brute force the 8! Combinations and see if I can get something to boot, but I think it'd probably just be easier to start fresh.
I've done lots of stupid things before (like running darik's boot and nuke on the flash drive it booted from) but this one is my first one in a while. I need one of those "xx days last incident" signs over my desk

Sigh... guess it's time to reformat anyways.

That's amazing! Amazon recently opened a location in PHX so I practically get next day from them, but that's the fastest newegg delivery I've ever had
