I thought the interview was pretty funny actually. I dont know what you expect from someone almost right after making a hell of a play to take them to the Super Bowl. Im sure the adrenaline was rushing...

Now the pat on the ass and getting in the face of Crabtree and even moreso the choking motion he made. Thats where the "classless" label steps in.

I find it hard to have an issue with it. Dude was just psyched out of his mind after making the game winning play...plus I actually like it when they talk shit....not to mention the mind set they have to get into to even play on Sunday...people are always surprised or upset when NFL players say dumb shit...just blows my mind. 1) Many of them just aren't that smart. 2) the amount of adrenaline and testosterone and the mindset they have going in to those games people are lucky to get post game interviews that are coherent from the non-QB's. The whole PC NFL thing has gotten old real quick. Does nobody remember all the shit talking NFL players used to do? Plus...dude's been the best corner in football the past 2 seasons. Let him talk his shit. Hell, he's been talking his shit this whole time and backing it up. Anyone else remember him giving Tom Brady shit? I thought it was fucking hilarious. He'll shut down Thomas next week too.

He may be an arrogant prick, but he's not a thug like many keep saying. 3.9 GPA at Standford in Communications(irony?) and is already working on his masters. Asshole? Yup. Stupid? No.

There was a clip on NFL network awhile ago - think they called it student of the game that shows you a little bit about how hard this guy works.

There is a reason the NFL doesn't allow players to be interviewed until 10 minutes after a game is over. Maybe it should be 15......

Yes.....many talk shit before a game. Very few continue to talk shit 10+ minutes after a game is over. It was, at best, piss-poor sportsmanship.

As for who he is and who he plays for, I couldn't find a way to care any less. I do hope he gets crushed at the Commercial/Halftime Show Bowl, though. I likely won't be watching, but it would be nice to hear about the following Monday.

I defend him. It was like 30 seconds after the game so ya he's gonna be pumped up. Also, Crabtree from what I hear, has been a total jerk to Sherman all season every time they meet. So it was somewhat warranted. Just cause he spoke his opinion doesnt make him a bad person... Hawks all the way!

Sherman claims he was wearing a microphone for NFL Films... and claims he went over and told Crabtree "Good game." and extended his hand for a handshake... I guess we'll have to wait for the NFL Films footage to leak/be released to really know.

The game had been over for over 10 minutes. The NFL doesn't allow players to be interviewed until 10 minutes after the end of any game. Apparently, they are trying to let the adrenaline subside in the players a bit, so they don't do or say something embarrasing. Go figure.

Certainly doesn't seem like that, usually immediately after a handshake the interviews start. Maybe a press conference?

As much as I hate the seahawks its because of my feelings for Pete Caroll. A little background my little bro played with Richard Sherman at Stanford, so I know him and his Mom a little from team family functions. I would like to make a couple of points then leave this thread.

See... I knew the footage would be released eventually... After I read he was mic'd up... I knew we'd find out the real answer. If anything it paints Crabtree in a worse light than he was already being painted.
