Thread: March Madness: Let's see those brackets!

I've usually had really good luck with my brackets most tourneys. In '09 I picked all of the elite 8 and 3 of the 4 final 4 and I got Louisville winning the whole thing last season. I don't know about you guys but this is the most unsettled I've ever been about my decisions. Even more so than usual, there's a lot of big tourney teams not looking so hot right now. Xavier going out first round is very sad, they always have some killer intense games in round 2.

I'm a long time AZ fan (resident) but the curse hasn't been lifted and I don't think this is their year. Stephen Austin is gonna be a blast to watch - my decisions with them are 50% hopeful, 50% I think that'll actually happen.

I agree man and I have been second-guessing myself ever since I finalized my bracket. But I'm just going to stick with it and hope for the best ($1B XD). I have Florida winning it all this year. No bias, I'm from the ACC, I just think they are the strongest.

my final four team is Florida, Creighton, Mich St., and Duke. Championship - Duke vs Mich St and Duke winning it. I'm just hoping that Parker and Hood both have constant and good games. If one of them have a crappy game then Duke is done.

My hope is that AZ will pull it off with their #1 defense, but they always throw it away in the later rounds - It's not just the Wildcats either, there's a curse on all Arizona sports teams

Should do/done a group on one of the online games to compare who is best =p. I have a few but my main I've got mostly chalk in the final 4:

Kansas, Michigan St, Arizona, Louisville

With Arizona vs. Michigan State as the final, with Arizona winning. I don't think that will happen, but hey I wanted something a bit more fun so fuck it, go Zona! Shame NAU couldn't do shit in the Big Sky Tournament and get in (and probably get smashed but still).

Early upsets got New Mexico State, after seeing there (and too many other teams stats to boot) stats. Not confident on it, as SDSU's defense is supposedly pretty tough and they had the better schedule. Also got Providence knocking off UNC. Was 50/50 on SFA or VCU, also Oregon and BYU (and a few others, those stood out from what I remember though).

Mid Major Madness has Oregon vs. BYU being a shoot-out, both teams love to run n' gun so possible must watch if you like that style (And I do, those Suns teams...)

American looking like a potential bracket buster at the moment. Still really early though (nearing the end of the first half).





Dayton also up on Ohio State at the half, they've looked like they've been shooting lights out, but I don't have the stats handy



Edit: looks like American regressing back to being a 15 seed, Dayton still in it though. Pitt destroying Colorado early.

Dayton was a surprise for sure, but I didn't have Ohio st. Going past next round anyhow.

Was hoping Pitt and Colorado would be a closer game but at least I'll get the win there.

Can't wait for Oregon/BYU - should be a great match

Why couldn't Oregon/BYU be later? Not during one of the possible 5/12 upsets (granted still be able to catch the 2nd half but still!)
