I'm a sucker for good acting and great drama. Breaking bad spoiled me and now I'm super critical. I was thoroughly satisfied with Charles and Eric's performance though. Absolutely incredible. Young Charles' struggle was beautiful and believable, I loved every minute of it

Spoiler Talk
I dont remember seeing one future sentinel get destroyed. And if the future wasn't changed it seemed like all our favorite mutants would have died. That was my favorite part of the movie. It was emotional to watch them all die.

***SPOILERS***
I agree, it made everything seem that much more critical. Blink and storm getting skewered and bishop getting lasered were sad to watch. Same with colossus getting ripped in half and magneto getting a shard in the stomach. It was really a last ditch effort.
I think the quicksilver scene in the kitchen was awesome too

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past
I am pretty sure bishop destroyed a couple of them after storm powered him up but I could be wrong. And Storm might have taken one or two out as well. And magneto done exploded a bunch in that first defensive shot I think. That scene was a bit hectic so who knows. They were definitely outnumbered and the nimrod class sentinels were pretty much unstoppable once they came en-mass.

I dont know how a movie full of those type of scenes would be. Leaving the viewers with just one QuickSilver scene was pretty smart imo. I guess they could film it in a bunch of different ways but the whole matrix type stuff can be easily over done.

Re: X-Men: Days of Future Past
Finally just saw it.
Really liked it, that it was great, but still think x2 was the better movie.
Loved Iceman all iced up, sliding and freezing ass! Bishop was cool, storm was cool ( and I don't even like her) Colossus was awesome ( I yelped out loud when he died. didn't mean to, it escaped, lol )
The history at this point I can't follow, but hell, the comics got to that point in the 80's anyway, so pfft, that''s cool.
Don't understand how magneto is so all powerful as to be able to move Colosseums and take over the circuits of robots....I thought he was just going to use the wires to animate the bots and scare the shit out of the humans, which would have made a lot more cents I think.
Needed more future fights with the future mutants kicking just a little bit more ass I think too.
Overall, I liked it. Haven't been to the movies in years because I'm so easily disappointed. Didn't even see Avengers in the theater.
Avengers was good, but Future X was pretty damn good."The bravery of idiots is bravery none the less."
