    Barclay's Premier League - 2014/15 Season

Well we are inching towards the start of the season and the friendly/practice matches are well under way. Some big changes in store for a lot of teams and some exciting new changes coming in after the world cup.

Manchester United dominates the headlines with some of the biggest changes in the league. Van Gaal is halfway through his second match as the new manager along with Hererra, Shaw, and a slew of other lineup changes that have been a blast to watch. I'm still astounded with how much they are paying for Luke Shaw, so much money for such a young player. United demolished LA Galaxy 7-0 with some brilliant goals and they are currently besting Roma 3-0 at halftime with absolutely gorgeous goals from Mata and Rooney.

Tottenham had a good performance against Toronto putting them away 3-2.

Sunderland nabbed up Van Aanholt from Chelsea, and Drogba signed on again with Chelsea. Lampard is leaving Chelsea as well and took a 10-week deal with Melbourne a la David Villa.

Lallana's knee injury looks like Liverpool will have to play without him for up to six weeks - meaning they'll have a rough start since they won't have Suarez either.

Coming in off the world cup the teams just look fun and fresh (might just be me getting super excited), what changes or matches are you guys looking forward to coming up?

Odd that a sport that does more running around than marathoners would be sponsored by a ciggy butt company. Especially in this day in age. Must be Europeon.

I'm looking forward to a real Arsenal line-up (maybe missed it), tried to watch the game today but just couldn't care about the kids+a few rotational and back-ups.

Loving that the league is back in action, even though Man U had a less than stellar first match against Swansea. Rooney is in top form, but their back line was looking bad. I'm so happy van Gaal is doing something about it.

Confirmed signing of Marcos Rojo from sporting lisbon and a Nani leaving on loan. It's sucks we couldn't get Mats Hummels from Brussia Dortmond but at least van Gaal is still keeping that back line a priority. Rooney is a playmaker, he will make sure we score goals whether that means putting them in himself or making crosses to Welback, Chicharito, or whoever. Man U's struggle has never been scoring goals, it's been stopping them. Ferdinand and Vidic did well enough but their absence is definitely impacting the game. Hopefully Shaw and Rojo can make some good changes.

I'm still excited, even with the loss last weekend. Though I wished waking up at 4:30am for the match would've have a better outcome
