I'm not saying he shouldn't be punished. 25 years to life is an overreaction to that. First off let's look at the cops shooting the father of this dude... How is that even possible? Did the dad threaten the cops? Was he brandishing a weapon? Or were the cops overly aggressive? I'm confused... I'd prefer to see a kind of community hour system. And some repayment including damages and emotional distress charges. This kid should be working his ass off in a shit detail to repay the cops, and victims. Banned from the Internet and no communication devices seems fair too. I'm sure a septic tank cleaning company will happily have him work for them...
