I wonder if they took the pits from different bands into consideration. A Nickleback moshpit (lol) will not be anything like a Slayer moshpit (fucking scary...last one I was in broke my nose). The model was fun to play with, but didn't seem to look like any pit I have ever been in. Their models were way too close, that is to say that in a real pit, there is usually much more room than their model gave.

And since we are here......Good, friendly, violent fun in store for all!

The last time I saw Slayer, it was outdoors. The pit was the size of a football field. I ended up breaking my nose, but there were some people in there getting pretty messed up. It generally stayed friendly, but got pretty damn bloody.

Also on that lineup.....Anthrax and Megadeth with an almost unknown Alice in Chains opening up on their first tour. Before the show started, Scott Ian, Joey Belladonna, and Layne Staley were criusing the parking lot ( tailgating was encouraged, and tailgate we did

) in a golf cart meeting random fans and downing beers with them. They stopped by the Dexmobile and filled their cups from the partyball my buddy and I brought.

*for you youngins'.....a partyball was a little plastic 5 gallon keg.*
