I have a hankering for a great Reuben. Anyone know a good place to get one in Plano/North Dallas?

lol...You need to go to a deli, or mom and pop sandwich shop for a good reuben.

We have this place here called Another Round that serves some amazing Reuben eggrolls.

I honestly only go to subway if and when they have the mozzarella meatball pepperoni $5 footlong.

Their pastrami sammich they have right now is pretty good.

If you were in NY, I could help you...

...kick it pastrami-style (in Tribeca):



...get it with 'kraut aged in oak whisky barrels (near the Whitney):



...have some toity with your hoity (on Bleeker):



(that's turkey, open-faced on pumpernickel, horseradish cream instead of russian, with a fried egg on top, chive garnish)

...or go classic (Lower East Side):



But you're in Texas. The advice you've gotten so far involves Quiznos and Eggrolls.

If it was me, I'd start with mapping software and search for delis that were kosher (actually, really, kosher).

Last month I spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh. Local flavour: in Pittsburgh, a turkey reuben is called "A Rachel".

No idea why. Some of them are really good.

We had this place called east coast deli a while back. Guy came from Pittsburgh and made the best Reuben I've ever had. I had at least one a week for over a year. The place closed but while it was open it was my favorite place. Lol they even had a chili cheese fry burger called the "Roethlesburger", it was to die for
