Tire Recommendations
Im needing to get new tires for my civic Si. Any suggestions? I live in Texas so thats the kind of weather Im looking at. I would like decent tread wear, and I dont plan on any racing or any such thing, although I drive "aggressivly". Ha. Ive read many forums and its hard to read between lines, etc.

Ridiculously good tires for a very reasonable price. I just put 4 of them (well, the DWS anyway) on the vette for just under 1080 bux. Bigger brands wouldn't have been better but they would damn well have been more expensive.

Yokohama S.Drives. Great tire, cheap price! Mind you I'll only get 25k out of mine, but I drive sorta hard... Nice and sticky and OK down to about 40*. Below that they get a little hard, but as long as it's not ice I havent had a problem with them. I will be buying another set for my BMW this summer!

Up here in the tundra, that's asking for death. Cheaper tires are usually made for warm weather year round. Rubber gets harder (and thus more slippery) the colder it gets. The rubber compound that is used on better tires stays a bit softer in the cold.
Must be nice to be snow and ice free.
I'm putting these on my truck next week:
