Want a Cadillac CTS-V for a track car? Buy my wrecked one! :( $6500

I JUST put $$$ in parts on this Oct 2014, new wheels/tires Sept 2014. It has 161k on the clock. Routine maintenance w/receipts, 5K Mobile 1 changes. I've never tracked it. I drove it spirited, but never really beat on it. I did burnouts only when replacing tires.

If you buy it, it will NOT be a salvage title (per the adjuster). It WILL be a salvage if I let it go back to the insurance company. I'd rather it go to someone wanting a track car . . . I have the title in my hand, right now, right when you read this sentence.

    (See pix 2nd post)

    The bad:
There is some small buckling of the rear frame rails & trunk from the hit. It caused some minor creasing in the C pillars as well. Cadillac body shop said the rear would pull out easy in a frame straightener.

It's still drivable & mechanically still sound. I drove it for 2 days in this condition & experienced no problems. All doors still open/close w/o effort & the trunk is 'sticky', but still pops up when unlocked w/remote/button. I'll take some pics now that the bumpers are off to show the underneath.

To make it look whole, you'd need:
    - front bumper + all the undercarriage plastics (the clear fogs/turns are intact & unbroken as well as brand new rubber air dam installed in 2014)
    - rear bumper & bumper support (this took the brunt of the damage)
    - trunk lid
    - passenger front headlight (current still works, just a support broke)

Also, there is some PDR able hail dents on the roof. I never filed the claim. They are visible, but easy to miss.

    The good:
I just installed all of the following in Sept/Oct 2014 (with installation receipts, the parts receipts are some where, but I bought this stuff over time & had it all installed at once):
    - D2 Coilovers w/Z06 endlinks
    - STS-V wheels with Continental Extreme Contacts (F: 255/45/18, R: 285/35/19) (5mm & 10mm spacers + new longer lugs)
    - NEW stock calipers all the way around with stainless lines & custom paint
    - Philstine's MC
    - Hurst short shifter w/custom knob & NEW stock bezel/boot
    - Geforce AWH axles (not race) + new seals & fluid
    - CS rear LCA
    - CS Diff/trans bushings (I have CS motor mounts, but didn't install)

    - New radiator/160deg stat in Jan 2015 as well, and replaced the lifetime warranty water pump

    - Spectre Werkes Power Dome fiberglass hood (2011) ($2k!)

    - rear spoiler (2011 - unaffected in the wreck)

    - LED tails (Aug 2014 - unaffected in the wreck)

    - LED interior (except footwells) & LED side marker/reverse/license (2012)

    - 5K HID headlights (2014) (I really prefer the 6K ones)

    - clear fog/turns (ebay, not STS) w/HID 6k bulbs (1 bulb or ballast just went out before wreck, was going to test the ballast by sticking working bulb in the other side, but never got to it since I didn't want to yank bumper)

    - muffler delete with custom xpipe & double wall 4" tips, sounds awesome IMO (2012)

    - K&N CAI (2011)

    - CAGS skip shift delete (2012)

    - LS2 FRC (black w/red text)

    - There is a FULL SIZE SPARE + JACK in the rear tub. The rim/tire are NEW, but the rim was scuffed from vibrating against the tub (bought it like this)

    - Brakemotive drilled/slotted rotors (I do have a steering wheel shimmy when braking between 55-60 that goes away, but all other speeds are solid) (2012)

    - lifetime alignment w/Firestone (is that just for me or the car?)

I have removed my Bel STI-r+ Detector, that's going in the V2. The only remnants of it are a hole in the boot around the steering column at the firewall, a 5mm hole in the dash between steering column/gauges, and some insignificant holes in the front bumper support.

I have removed the Parrot Asteroid Smart as well, but for $600, I can put it back in in 15mins. This includes the PAC interface. I have the steering wheel controls adapter + PAS interface cable I can sell as well ($10 cable, $40 ASWC-1). I have the stock stereo to go back in. The stock speakers were all replaced by the previous owner with Infinity Kappas. I didn't even know this when I bought it.

I'm leaving in the 10" Kicker sub in the stock position + the Kicker 250w amp. It's perfect for the car. I couldn't take the sub anyway. I've put a lot of dynamat down in the rear.

Speaking of vette drive trains... I should have gotten my vette back from the transmission place by now... Wonder what's taking the $%@#$%@ so long to just put in a 3.90 ring and pinion? Hrmmmmm. I might have to visit him tomorrow unexpectedly.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

Didn't know the early CTS-V had the non supercharged motor. I need that motor in a pickup
