Re: not being able to sleep good
Its not working because you've trained your body to it. Train it to something less destructive. Pick a show you like and watch it every time you lay down. Eventually your body will know its time to rest.

When I was having migraines coming off of the anti-psychotics, I ended up taking Aleve regularly. It ended up causing a lot of nausea and smaller headaches (until the Aleve kicked in). Ultimately, it was better to just deal with the pain than the extra side effects. The migraines were temporary though so ^0^.
I've honestly had a lot of issues with falling asleep my whole life (can't stop thinking about less than pleasant memories/fears/etc.). What's been working for the last several months is avoiding electronics an hour or so before I go to sleep (including not having computers/TVs on), reading a little before bed, melatonin (I take 5mg) before bed, sleeping in a made bed, avoiding food for a few hours before I go to sleep, and a few other things.
Basically, getting into a routine helps. I can't remember if you have to mix night shifts/day shifts, but if you don't, then a routine is easy to do after the first week of getting used to it. My body is ready to shut down now for the night around midnight since it's used to that, and the melatonin helps my mind shut down. Getting up at 6/7AM (depending on my schedule) isn't a problem. I sometimes wake up earlier, but that's due to the damn dog.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
