Windows 10 Anniversary Update is Cancer!

    Windows 10 Users beware.

Tons of people have been having horrible issues with the new update borking their PCs. I for one lost access to one of my SSDs in the process of the update. I initially thought that Windows wiped 20 games from my steam library (as some users online have reported in the past) but alas the new build implemented some sort of driver level change that made my drive appear as an unformatted, unpartitioned, drive to the OS.

After about an hour of Googling, the reddit detectives are hot on the case but no permanent fixes have been reported yet, that I've seen on any of the tech blogs/forums I found.

Rolling back the update fixed the issue for me. I think I'll wait for a while for all this b.s. to get fixed before I try again. You other multi-drive users might want to make backups and check your restore points before letting the update move forward.

I'm also thinking I may need to reinstall Battlenet and hearthstone. I always start off offline and the first time connecting to a server always results in the "sprites" message.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

I had to do a clean install and decided to drop the anniversary update while doing so... did the same. Secondary drives showed up as uninitialized. I didn't think I had anything on the drive worth mentioning so I went ahead and just reformatted. Whoops. My entire plex library was on there (~2TB). Oh well. Didn't lose any of the media, just the directory structure. Annoying at worst.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
