Re: Destroying our local Disc Golf Park to make way for BIG OIL
thanks guys. it does not matter if you live here or if you are a voter here. the petition is being signed by people all over the world. Juliana Korver (world's womens champion) herself has signed it. anyone who wants to sign can. please tell anyone you know who is interested in golf or in preserving our parks. thanks again.

Re: Destroying our local Disc Golf Park to make way for BIG OIL
sorry to hear about that man...
only industrial stuff we got going on is all agriculture related, so its automatically approved...
2nd largest privately owned corporation (Cargill INC) is building an ethanol plant where walmart wanted to build a supercenter because its by the interstate...
our county is wierd...if it doesn't involve agriculture, we dont approve of it by a landslide (walmart lost a public vote 99% to 1%)....

Re: Destroying our local Disc Golf Park to make way for BIG OIL
Ive never played it, it never caught on up in the north east. Ive seen it and it looks easy to grasp and challenging to master, but always fun. IMHO its every bit as worthy as the original golf.
Petition signed.

Re: Destroying our local Disc Golf Park to make way for BIG OIL
thanks. you are right scott. it's easy to learn, but a bitch to master. i've been playing over 10 years and i'm still a novice. the main thing is that it's one of the only outdoor activities/sports that the whole family can enjoy and the only cost is the discs themselves which you can get online for anywhere from 5 to 50 bucks. try buying a big bertha golf club for 5 bucks.... thanks for the support everyone and keep it up! peas!
