Why lock it?
Every time one of these topics is generated we learn something about living together... fucking awesome. Teamplayers lead the way, bitches!
Of course, bacon makes a great point... keep it civil.

“At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world.”

See what happens when you bring Wikipedia into this?
Michael Scott (from The Office)Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.

Re: the irony of iraq and the bible (and how the U.S. Will triumph!!)
consultant wasn't being racist....he was pointing out the racism of Darwmin and Huxley......
it's pretty unfair of consultant, though.....since it isn't really applying such statements to the times. 1850 was pretty high on the slavery and african colonial oppression scale.
But it wasn't consultant's intent to be racist. His intent was to show that science isn't exactly 100% right all the time, or 100% right for the best reasons.
And I'm a scientist, so I know what I'm talking about.
locked.
