Nah i probably need to just leave the kid alone, now im sure he realizes maybe not to be quite as much as a baby and wants to be left alone. So he drops it so goes the title after a couple months. He has a couple publicity events he needs to attend first! Queens duties!

Ok so i finally got L4D installed and i couldnt wait to play it. so after watching an intense 5minute intro to the game, im so hyped up to play it... i start a single player game and i only get 2 FPS max!! so i turned AA, vsync and muticore rendering off, turned all my settings to lowest, and i got an amazing 3FPS boost... i looked up some other threads and people were complaining about 30FPS, meanwhile i envy them for getting over 5!!!

now i know i dont have the best system specs, but all my hardware meets the requirements and ive seen worse specs than mine getting like 50 FPS... ive added the -heapsize 1048576 to my launch options, and used the mat_queue mode 0 command, but it didnt make it any difference

can ANYONE tell me how to get even the slightest FPS boost so that the game is actually playable?!?!

EDIT: i read something about reverting back to the 178.xxx drivers, but it made no difference for me

I am experiencing the same problem. It does it with the audio and video. And looking at the specs of your computer we have about the same one. So if someone would please help us out it would be much appreciated.

Well its good to see im not the only one with this problem... Well good luck trying to get any help here, i posted this on the 9th of Jan and still no reply...
