"Harlot's Ghost" by Norman Mailer is another great book. It's about the CIA in the late 60's - 80's. Very intriguing book. I had to read it with a dictionary to figure out what some of the words were and I was an English Major! It's got some seriously twisted subject matter (at least to me), so don't say I didn't warn you.
Lately I've been reading books about the military, there was one really good one that's pretty current... I can't remember the name... When I get home I'll post it. My point was that it was very good.
Can you tell I grew up in a home without a TV? We read a lot, and I guess I never lost the habit.
