    Re: People are hypocrites

Well lets see...I know i'll reconnect if my score is horrible(or my internet is going wacky) but I usually have much more than 800 bucks when I do it. So just because you reconnect doesn't mean you're doing it for money.
and 2....i go spec for a round to go do something real quick so i'm not AFK in game.
So not everyone that is doing these things for the cash.

I can tell the difference between flipping up to the damn specs and back though. just saying.

    A little history...

Way back in the day TTP's start money was set at 1,500, as we all agreed that starting with pistols was a waste. We since changed that rule and amount back to the stock 800 because players really enjoyed the pistol rounds and because of the "cheap play" that you mention in joining spec and switching back to your side to grab a quick paycheck.

We don't condone this behavior, we don't think it's leet, we don't think it's called for and it's certainly not a thing a leader, a lead admin or lead reg should do.

If it was up to me, and I was in game, I'd certainly call out the other player for being a bitch, or a "spec swapping fag" or something to that extent....from player to player, I think it's a pretty weak gameplay style, and I'd speak out as some of how have been doing in this thread.

As admins, it's our responsibility to set the example, and switching to spec isn't a great example to set. We've never had a "rule" to punish for this behaviour, (players or admins) and we don't require one unless the switching is after every round, many players are doing it and it becomes disrupting to the gameplay. The point that this happens is up to the admin in control's discression. Otherwise this is to much of a grey area to enforce most of the time. Many times I've had to disconnect and reconnect because bigdog's mother just won't quiet down about me not spending enough time with her etc... and I have to connect and reconnect.

Admins will discuss any action to take in their respective forums.

This topic is a legit grevience, and I'd suggest everyone show a little more respect.

We'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
Thank you sjt, I appreciate you being civil and well mannered on this subject and in this situation.

Looking for NICE people to play against.

    Hello,

my friends and I own Left 4 Dead (x360) and like playing it together. We're not great and don't have any real tactics but simply because we all use mics and we work together as survivors means we often win very easily (as four random people generally won't talk or work together very well as survivors), which often results in the other team leaving the server after only a stage or two.

We just want to play against some people who won't leave, won't glitch, and are nice guys. We don't mind getting beat

Are there any people on here with a few mates who can give us a nice competitive friendly game? Or, is there anywhere we can find people like this? I've found a few clan competitions and stuff, but little is available to UK Xbox players it seems and we don't really want to compete in a serious way!

Thanks a lot for any advice or offers!
