Daaamn! How much time did it take him to pull those off! Pretty nice beat! Awsome find dude!

Boom, chick, boom, chick. Nah, I don't think I'm as good as him yet, YET.

He's a very talented young man, he's going to go veeeeery far with that kind of work.

I have a friend who knows him.

When I saw the højskole video in 03 he told me he was born in Sweden.

    Decals_mod2x

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to source modding. I've been doing some simple messing around with decals such as editing the gore. So far I have found that the gore on the wall is stored in decals_mod2x.vtf in materials/decals. I'm pretty sure I'm doing the process right, such as editing pak01_dir.vpk with the new filename and placing the new file in materials/decals. I even tried editing all of the vmt's that mention it. However, each time I try to play a level, each of the characters have big, square, pitch black squares (almost like horrible shadows) under them. The same goes for any blood on the floor and bullet holes, they are just black squares. Now, I figured out that the game does this when it can't find decals_mod2x. Can we not edit this? Is this a file where the engine won't look for a replacement if you change the name? Or am I the only one who has even tried this and no one has a clue?

    Thanks
