Steam Support cannot help you with a CD key purchased through a third party.

Do as they recommended and "contact the seller of this item to request a refund or exchange".

In order to avoid any possible negative associations of Left4DeadForums.com with DirectGameKeys.com, I have decided to no longer offer advertising campaigns to this advertiser.

The current campaign expires on May 25th. After that date, no further advertisements for DirectGameKeys.com will be displayed on the Left4DeadForums website.

Note that this decision in no way implies any kind of negative statement against DirectGameKeys.com or its business practices. As I said earlier in this thread, I bought my own Left 4 Dead key from there, and have had no problems whatsoever.

However, in order to avoid any more controversy or potential tarnishment of the reputation of Left4DeadForums, I decided that this was the best course of action for our community.
