    Yeah but I play on 360 so that's no option for me. It's just a minor gripe though, so I can live with it. I can still routinely wreck shop with the Smoker as is.

    Mostly, I meant that would be super-easy for them to enable if it was desirable :P

    I overall like the smoker idea, bit of fine tuning but eh nothings perfect.

    The Smoker is the character that splits them up thats all, i my self haven't used him to do major damage, but too simply put pressure on the survivors and/or too pull them away from the team in specific spots.

    At the right time the Smoker is awesome, when the teams full of Vomit and cannot see anything, Smoker has a good chance to cause some chaos there, given that the survivors arn't melee spammers .

    On both No Mercy and BloodHarvest there a Key spots where the Smokers ability is best used, i don't think i need to say where, there very obvious.

    So to clarify, In my opinion, i don't believe The Smoker to be a Damage dealer, more of pressure Character, splitting the team up and also making them worry when crossing place where they are vunrable.

    Giving him the walking ability won't do much difference.
    Infected have a 20 second respawn timer, because they believe you are going to die atleest once during versus as the infected, so whats the need to survive as a smoker i ask.

    Its fine saying that smokers job is to seperate survivors and i agree.

    But current smoker is not very good at it againt decent survivors.

    Smoker spawns behind a metal pole. Firstly he has to step into the survivors line of sight in order to grab them and then he has to remain there.

    Result = The survivors shoot the smoker = Survivors are not seperated.

    Same scenario with ability to side step.

    Smoker steps out from Metal pole , Grabs a survivor and side steps back behind pole.

    Result = A survivor runs after the pulled survivor to save him via melee , Another survivor looks for a position where he can shoot the smoker = Survivors seperated.


    1. Smokers can pull survivors.

    2. Survivors receive fall damage.

    A Smoker pulls a Survivor from a high place and the survivor takes fall damage = Correct.

    A Smoker pulls a Survivor from a skycrapper and survivor lands on his neck and takes 0 damage = Wrong.

    30 second respawn if theres four of them though. The smoker shouldn;t have to be that though, It's primary damage is supposed to cause damage yet compared to a hunter (Who's primary attack is to directly damage the survivors much like the smoker) the damage isn't enough.
