Who would set up this ID system? I'm not sure if I'd trust some shadowy organization to keep tabs on what games my daughter could and could not play. As her father, I get to make those decisions, and I'm not likely to just hand over that right and responsibility to someone else, however innocent their motives might be.
I mean what would be next - government run orphanages for all pre-teens? 'Cos I mean if they don't trust us parents to monitor our kids' gaming habits, why trust us to bring up children at all?...__o.. Stress, obesity, heart disease, traffic congestion,

...i dont think this would work very well at all.....
and teenagers, can be over sixteen. thats the right age to play L4D, or any other mature game....therefore it would really fix the "Teenager" problem just minimalize it..
and getting the ID cards would be a very big hassle, what about the people who got L4D on there 16th birthday or something and have to wait 2 weeks to a month for a ID card[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Sorry to burst your bubble, but not all teens are that way. I may have anger problems, but I control my anger very well. And I may not be good(or great) but im not too bad either. So, yeah, perhaps you shouldnt generalize and just have fun with the game. Give people a chance.

Legit. Coming from a teenager.
I would say I'm on the more mature side of this. I often get taken for being older(voice), and most of my friends are older than me. At least the ones I meet. My friends in real life are close to my age, but the people I make friends with online are usually 21+ in age.
