TTP and advertisements

Shit google is smart, they put all of ads that we would like to see right there, hell I'm dowloading BF2 sandbox because of the ads

If anyone could help with this it would be great. I used to be able to play L4D at lowest resolution 640x480 for maximum FPS performance, but now every time I play, it HAS to be 800x600 or else screen will be off center to the upper left. I have Radeon 2400 HD Pro, my taskbar is on the left side, and my desktop resolution is 1280x960 if that helps.

EDIT: Also, running in windowed mode fixes the off center problem, but I need it to be full screen. Does anyone have any ideas at all?
