Locked, one man squads....

man i hate those. They waste space. And besides, what if i wanted to join Alpha specifically?

Those people don't tend to last long on this server belial. I've seen admins boot those guys pretty quick around here. I know it's against server policy, if you notice that sort of behavior, chat it up; an admin will notice.

Better to have that one man locked squad, in a jet, in communication with the commander rather than no comms at all.

However, I too am not a big fan of the one man squads

Apparently this is a discussion amongst 2142 players. BF2 allows 9 squads per side. How many squads are available per team in 2142?

Same, IIRC.

But we have less players, so it's not AS big a problem. However, I still think they're fairly useless as locked squads.

Problem is, as commander you don't see which squads are locked. Hell, you generally don't even get a correct view of how many are in each squad. Woot bugs.

Now if there is a 2 man locked squad named "Air" or the like - and they are good and in communication with the commander more power to them, but if they lock their one man squad to try to get around our requirements to team up then screw um
