Controller problems
Hope this is the place to post this...
I've been having controller problems lately with my 360. I was playing with a wireless controller and it kept disconnecting. I checked the batteries and they were fine, but I switched controllers anyway (to another wireless). That was fine for a while, but then it also started to disconnect every few minutes.
Of course, it's extremely frustrating when you're playing something like Left 4 Dead and it disconnects while you're in the middle of a horde.
Any ideas what's going on? Are there any fixes? It seems like it's a problem with my 360, because surely BOTH my (brand new) controllers couldn't be crapping out?

how full were the batteries? my controllers tend to do that even if the batteries still have some life in it.

Yep, I did, and it works now just fine. Haven't had any problems since I changed batteries. :\ weird.
Maybe it's because I'm using cheap batteries, lol.

lol, thats most likely why. cheap batteries are the spawn of satan.
the saaame thing happened to me - and the same solution worked. as soon as I switched to a brand name battery, it worked fine.

Good to know, thanks!
It was one of those days where Wal-Mart was out of stock of any batteries less than $10, so I went to the dollar store and bought a 20 pack for like $3.

I use MS's rechargable packs. I haven't had any problems with them, but I did have to replace a couple after about 6 months, overchared them and they had trouble holding charges for very long after that.
Plus when my battery gets low in the middle of a game I can just plug it in, instead of going idle for a minute, I found removing batteries from the housing to be a pain.
