I played a versus the other day, and was playing as a survivor. We were pretty much kicking the infected's ass in the final scene of No Mercy until...

The helicopter showed up, don't know why but our team all the sudden became every man for themselves and it proved our undoing. I was able to make it to the chopper and was trying to mow down the horde attack that persisted to help other team members make it, but a very good smoker pulled my ass out of the chopper and I was finished (as was the rest of our team). I got a great laugh out of that one because I was OWNED!

Its all about strategy and picking your moments.

seriously, if you think the infected are weak...try playing a vs game thats not on normal or under.

Play on expert as infected...the rest of your team could suck and you will still beat the survivors 95% of the time. The survivors do not win on expert, unless its my team of friends :-)

Normal and less, the infected are gauranteed to lose consistently, with the exceptioin of a couple maps, mainly blood harvest campaign. woods = domination

Advanced mode I feel equals a level playing field for both sides in terms of damage and player skill level. There are still a lot of people lacking common sense in this game. I hope I go to war with none of you watching my back.

How do you change the difficulty in versus mode cos it just says "Difficulty: Versus"
