Some of you know that I'm active duty Army. Well, I looked and I'm about to PCS (move) to Korea around Feb time frame. Just thougt I could start a topic for any one and every one to talk about there times they were over there. SoJu any on?

What was it like, is it hard living there as opposed to America?

It was my younger days, but I absolutely loved it. My dad was an engineer, so he was making pretty good money. Every place is different, I'd say it was(where I lived) defiantely city life, but it was pretty moderately clean and there was virtually no crime. So I was like 12 taking a taxi downtown to check out the arcades and meet up with the little Korean honeys, and I could come home whenever the fuck I wanted because my parents didnt really have to worry about it.


BTW I played Tekken 3 years b4 it came out in the states.

Damn, sounds almost better then over here. Clean environment, no crime, laid back city life. What could be better. Sounds like a business paradise.

Well over here, we have what seems to be a much bigger market for consumable items. It is very easy in the states to walk into a local supermarket and see 20 different distributors for the same product. My point is, in the states it is very easy to obtain the things we may take for granted. It's pretty much the same over there, it's very modern, but just different.
