    ok keeping it simple, the official wireless usb dongle, is overpriced and essentially crap, as wireless will mean you tend to lose a little connection speed meaning higher ping (ie more lag)

    so the best option is to use a switch, cheap little things too, plus if you have mates over with their xbox's then its all gravy (system link ftw)

    Attacked much ? lol why would i ? Its a linux dedicated server so they can attack as much as they want ^^

    Must say spawn153 and all the other that suggested switch was the best i heard, some ppl still suggested router after i said i dont want to use router, to much work for me to open ports all the time lol

    Switch it is, did only cost $15 here Wireless was around $100 and router around $80

    Yes, this is very true, but mostly what you will find off the shelf are Switches with Routing / NAT capabilities. Anyways, I didn't want this to get too technical for OP. Get a 'Switch' then /thread
