Re: RL friends move, and need your help
I have two rules of moving. I will no help you if you will not help me. It is simple really.
Call me up and say "nuck will you come help me move a pool table" and I will say "sure". You call me up and say "nuck will you come help me move all my shit" and I will say, "I am busy, if you would have moved last week I would have hooked you up".
I dont move peoples shit. That is what movers are for. I had a good friend a while back try and pressure me into helping him move so I offered him $100 to leave me the hell alone. He didnt take it but he got my point.

I don't do moving unless it is boxed, or furniture. My buddy bought a new, to him and his family, house and I have been helping with the improvements. New light fixtures, bath fixtures, blinds, wiring for the audio/video system. All fun stuff let me tell you. Especially hanging out in the attic when it's 110 in Texas.

Can't Find Servers
We don't have a general steam issue thing, so I figured I'd start a thread here. Please move it if need be.
Long story short, I can't connect to steam servers (no connection could be made) and view friends. Recently, I have also had issues finding servers on tf2 and I believe it was a minor problem they escalated.....any news or advice?

My experience has been that I think there seems to be a connection (no pun intended) between not being able to see friends, and not being able to see servers.
To date, our only suggestion has been to either delete or rename the ClientRegistry.Blob file in the Steam directory, and let it recreate itself, or to re-install Steam. There have been mixed results from these possible fixes.*********************************
