I am a little tired of running through some maps, but the good thing at least is there is now four maps that I can cycle through, and I am gratefull for that. The SDK will definetly make things more interesting with custom maps from clans and other creative minds...

- Just so I am sure, the SDK WILL allow us to make our own maps for vs and survivor right?

Lets just hope the SDK will make the mapping community come up with some really nicely done campaigns. And I do mean nicely done... not the cheap crappy agreggation of shitty orange texture maps.

I am rather new to L4D (just one or two months since I joined the community) but I can see this moment coming.
I have recently convinced some friends of mine to buy the game but I am not sure how long I am going to keep playing.
It 's obvious that this game has the potential but they have to keep the interest of the players alive.
Is it so hard for them to release a new campaign every 3-4 weeks? :/

A good campaign takes about 2 months to finish. It's all the coding and spawn scripting.

If it requires too much time for the game's developer, I guess we are going to see a good campaign made by fans not sooner than 3-4 months...

Valve's excuse is that of the example of Counter-Strike. You don't complain about seeing the same maps, right?

The problem with that arguement is in CS you don't play for over an hour, whereas on L4D you do.

If you're going to kill us with the same 4 maps, Valve, at least create some life in to it.

There's actually a lot of levels in Left 4 Dead, they are just fast to get through. I would love new, more campaigns as much as the next guy but the ones already there are really good.

I would really enjoy if Valve gave the 360 community a few new Campaigns when the PC'ers get the SDK.

It feels only fair. ;-;
