The reason I assumed AzH would be the ideal 'main admin' is because he appeared to me to be the owner of the latest DT forum (the one where we are conducting this conversation, in fact).

Please try to remember that I have very little knowledge of the history of DT and its various past incarnations, nor of its politics, former staff positions, etc.

To be honest, I had no inkling whatsoever that anyone might possibly object to AzH running the show. He seemed to be the logical choice, since I inherited this DT forum from him when I purchased L4DForums.

The suggestions I made earlier in this thread were more related to who *should* handle hosting panel/admin related duties than to who *could*.

I am perfectly capable of handing all of the technical aspects related to hosting and vBulletin administration. It appeared to me however that DT was a rather close-knit group, and that you would prefer 'one of your own' to fulfill that role.

I wanna see a peep show forum.

devioustyrant.net is now live. I have also purchased and installed vBulletin, and imported the data from L4DF.

I have sent AzH an email with all of the connection info, so that he can get in and start configuring things.

For now, I have put the site in maintenance mode. Alan will take over from here.
