I think what is necessary is weapon placement needs to be more natural. Maybe one weapon at a spot. Instead of seeing 3 weapons placed at a single table with a load of ammo.

Also I think the weapons would be more likely to be found as the military are quite active in the places l4d2 takes place.

In one of the gameplay trailers, isn't there only 1 shotgun on a table at some point?

Pistols are used as a last resort to your main weapon, which is the reason it has infinite ammo. While it would be nice, it would be highly unfair to the Infected.

Ah... you make a good point there. Then I don't really have a wish list for weapons. As long as I can kill shit with an assault rifle. Though a sledgehammer would be nice too.

L4D2 has incendiary bullets that (somehow) defy the laws of physics, and frying pans. So in the spirit of getting as many comedy weapons into the game, how about:

Custard Pies
Exploding Cigars
'Bang' Flag Gun
Orgazmorator (from the movie 'Orgazmo')
Anal Intruder (from the movie 'Top Secret')
Dead Fish (for use in Pythonesque 'Fish Slapping Dance')
Pillow (for a pillow fight)
Ghostbusters Proton Packs

That and after awhile the "horror" nature ofr the game kinda ran out on me, so pring on the kitchen ware. also a Mk 19 grenade launcher hear and there would be nice
