Rushing
I need some advice on how to get the team to work as an actual "team" on CS. Maps like dust, or aztec I play as t and try to get my team to rush and play together. We will rush once loose by a very close call and after that everyone camps on a consistent basis and dies horribly. I try to tell them (and Punky Brewster can attest to this as he and I both experience this) rush as a team smoke here and flash at this point and it will work. But all i get from these people is "STFU noob" or "Rock quit bossing us around". I was also accused of being upset because i was sucking (when acutally i was at the top of the kill board). So naturally I switch to the opposite team to play with some people who can communicate with their mics and listen, and not 3 seconds pass by until someone calls me a team stacker or traitor. How does everyone else get people (mainly non regs) to listen and not be ignored?

RE: Rushing
I hear ya my friend. The only thing you can do with a team that refuses to communicate and/or play the map properly is try to find at least one or two buddies that will consistently listen and do the best you can with them. If there is an admin on, send the admin a private message and ask that he give them a "boost" for ya. Once the campers see they are getting burned/punished for not completing the map objectives, they will start listening.
I have done exactly what you are saying in the past though too. The team refuses to listen (usually a team of non-regulars with clever names like "Lick my Sack" and so forth), communicate or try to win at the map, I have switched teams on them. I figure, they had enough chances when I was on their team to turn this around and they ignored me, so screw it I am going to play on a team that does communicate.
Now, if I am on a team that IS communicating well and just happens to be losing despite giving it their honest efforts, trying everythng we can and still losing...then, hey that's CS and you just have to stick it out and get owned every once in a while lol.

RE: Rushing
next time......start saying things in open chat, so the admin can see it. Start getting them to give you shit in public chat about why they should sell out and camp.
and then.......the admin will take care of it. If you're the only one with the plan, and the rest are just STFU bombers......they'll get theirs.
I never switch teams once I'm in. I choose my side, and go from there. Make it happen, or take your licks. The whole point of the server is to keep producing team players.....not just keep the ones we already have. If you're making sense, there has to be at least 1 or 2 people on your team that are willing to listen.
And while the rest of your team gets timebombed, slayed, and kicked for being non-teamplayers, that will only go to reinforce those that stuck it out, and stayed with the team, and keep them coming back as TTP loyalists.
Switching out is stacking. Keep yelling and fighting and kicking and thrashing, until they leave, or the admin deals with em.
If they get mad, and dont' want to come back........who gives a shit? They aren't teamplayers anyway. So fuck em.

I've gotten sick of the influx of non-teamplayers who join this server. One of my favorite maps to play is cs_assault, because it requires the CT side to actually work together. I'm always on my microphone trying to work with the team to stage separate rushes, but people just curse at me and point to my low ratio (someone's gotta lead the rush and take a bullet for the team). I wish this server was exclusive to TEAMPLAYERS!
Maybe we should have a teamplayer regular game night every week.

I agree with Bigdog. Once I join a team I stay. If you want to make a team work together then you should enroll in the Bigdog School of CS:S of Yelling. This 4 mins class will do wonders. For example here are some testimonials from some graduates:
Digital - " Now that I have completed the Bigdog School of CS:S of Yelling I can pwn and work with my fellow teammates. "
Mafia - " I am the best Dirka in my clan thanks to Bigdog's School. "
For 3.50 you can take the Bigdog School of CS:S of Yelling and be certified Texas Teamplayer. Also for you post graduates you can now enroll into the SJT17 School of CS:S Screaming for special introductory price of 3.50. Now you can be certified to YELL and SCREAM commands to your fellow teammates to help Teamwork happen."And the hits just keep on coming." - Tom Cruise, A Few Good Men

every time i start yelling at the asshats, it is, 9 times out of 10, given a response of "dude, chill out, it's just a game".
so... i get them to say it in public chat... where i can screenshot it, status them, and post it as a nice, neat package here so their steam id's can be added to the ban list.
