Thread: How bout dem tigers?

Jumped ahead of USC in the polls to #1. I think yesterday was the most exciting and ineteresting saturdays for college football, and we're only halfway through the season. I was glad to see Florida lose, to an SEC team of course. That conference is so unpredictable. It's so damn competetive, with every team beating each other week after week. The PAC 10 isnt anything to scoff at either. PAC 10 and SEC are the top two conferences by far, with the SEC having an edge over the PAC 10.

Saw that. How bout Cal at number 3. Yeah I know the sooners and the gators lost but come on. Cal would get blown out by both of them.

That's just the way it is. Funny thing is, Cal could easily beat USC, but most likely would lose to Florida or Oklahoma. It's a conference/rivalry thing. With the way USC allows teams to stay in the game, they will struggle against oregon and cal. LSU's defense is second to none. Their offense will step up a bit once Flynn is over that high ankle sprain. I was alos very disappointed that Oklahoma lost, they were a great team. It's gonna be an interesting year.

Wouldnt that be crazy if a team like South Florida went undefeated. Theyd go to the BCS CHAMP. game and get blown out by LSU. Thatd be funny. This year is so fuckin crazy.

Ever since Miami and Florida St. starting playing just "average", those other D-1 Florida schools started to get better players. UCF and USF have some good teams that could hang around with a lot of the ranked teams today.

Sorry to say, but FSU's coach is a has been...ghee I wonder why Amato is there (again)...

so I'm sure a lot of good recruits are targetting UCF and USF. I mean they spanked Auburn, we used to play them for freakin' HomeComing...

It would be a really odd year to have some "never though of's" to be ranked in the top 5.

All i know, is it was one hell of a night, that Auburn game was the bomb...so yeh..Go TIGERS...even though, I know you're talking about LSU.
