Re: what car do you drive?
1996 Chevrolet 1500 w/ Z71 package was my first car when I turned 16.
When I went to college I didn't want to pay $3/Gal for gas when I'm only getting about 18 mi/Gal (not to mention the truck was falling apart and I didn't trust it for the 2 hour drive back home) so I got a '02 Toyota Camry (a little less glamorous but I've never had a single problem with that car in 4 years).

Re: what car do you drive?
I have this awesome car that I've cared about for a while.
Red Mitsubishi Galant with a spoiler, some nice rims,
a sweet sound system, and then last week I got an improvement!
I was fortunate enough to, for free, have my hood fly up on the interstate
at two interstate mergers driving sixty-five. It was great. The car is TOTALly awesome, with a custom-inlaid windshield, and a industrial-style front end - scratch the grill. Now, the hood is able to be wrapped around the ceiling of the car. The improvements cost more than the car was worth, so i got a great value....

Re: what car do you drive?
Just got done this weekend throwing in a O2J tranny with ATP stage 3 228mm clutch kit.. I swear to god this clutch better pull through like I'm hoping.. Hopefully I'll be in the mid 11's now..
Which will never happen... Doesn't hurt to dream a bit tho..

Abandon Hope- Jared's Story
Backstories to locations in a L4D campaign I am currently mapping.
Jared climbed into his treehouse shaken and disturbed. Everything he had been sure about had been ripped out from under him. It was as if the sanity he had stood on his whole life was crumbling away leaving him on the edge of a dark void. How could an eight year old make sense of all this? Fighting back tears he was too shaken.. too disturbed to be angry... the urge to panic was so heavy it had an opposite effect... he was motionless... quiet.
He could hear a loud commotion in the house with his father yelling and his mother screaming.. an unearthly scream. "You're not well, baby! You're not well!" His father continued to yell. After a while the commotion stopped and all that he could hear was his mothers screams.
The back door opened and the sound of footsteps approached the treehouse.
"Jared!", his father called out, "Here buddy take these we may need them. Be very careful."
His father climbed up the ladder and handed him what appeared to be homemade molotovs.
"We have to leave your mother here for now. I am going to get you to a safe place and come back to help her. I am going to pack a few things before we go." He climbed back down and went back into the house.
Jared put the molotovs on a shelf and stared at the wall of his treehouse... motionless... with only his mothers screams and grunts to mark any existance of time.
After what seemed an eternity he heard the car start up in the driveway and the horn honk.
"Jared... lets go!" his father called out.
Jared picked up a marker and began to write on the wall.
WHY DID MOM TRY TO KILL ME?
The horn honked again.
Jared raced out of the treehouse and made a dash for the car forgetting the molotovs his dad had given him.
The only thing on his mind was.. everything he was once certain about had all vanished... the world he found himself in today was not the same one he once knew.
