For the icon, there is the option for "Link to offsite image" at the bottom of your profile. (Profile at the top of the forum, not the "My Account" on the side).

If you don't have a place to put your image, I can help you out with that.

To get your x-fire to show up, i'm pretty sure there is a generator on the x-fire website that will create the http code for you and you just insert it as an [img].

I'll look it up, because im curious too.

photobucket.com is the best hosting place. simply upload your image(s) and it gives you the URL! ITS THAT EASY!

    Ask and ye shall recieve!

Go here for your X-Fire miniprofile.

Use the second code block, copy-n-paste into you signature code block in your profile.

    Done!

Now I gotta fix my Phalanx sig so it matches.

    NOW you did it...

I followed this potentially hazardous fix:

Launch the Command Prompt by right clicking on it and choosing "Run As Administrator" Type in the following command and press enter:

net localgroup Administrators /add Local Service

now my USER has admin rights, and thats killer in internet.

How can I revert this to original setting? I preferably always run as admin and write my password than let my OS be open like a cardboardbox.

yeaah and next time warn people if "crash fix" can severely affect safety.

I found it in sound loop fixes and stuff, I managed to cure this by adding "/delete"
    instead of /add

It's a minimal risk at most, no more dangerous then the pop-up that asks if you really want to run something that changes any setting. (which people click through like sheep)

but yes the delete works with no lasting harm.

Btw if you're worried about that you might also like to worry about this exploit (for which there currently is no fix, and affects all versions of windows from windows 2000 up)

Microsoft warns of new Windows bug, says attacks under way

    I noticed this:

Newer versions of Windows -- XP SP3, Vista and Server 2008 -- are not vulnerable to the bug, however.

So, itīs fixed except win xp sp2 and DOWN.
